Recently introduced new model of Aston Martin – the 2012 V8 Vantage, has had its first drive. However, not everything is going as flawlessly at the manufacturer’s site as it was on the road with V8 Vantage. The price for this exclusive sports model was announced to be cut by more than $5,000. It was done in order to increase the competitiveness of the model. As it was said by the officials, that should boost the demand for this sport beauty. However, market experts tend to another point of view. They say that it was done in order to compete with the main competitor of Aston Martin – Porsche. Since all-new sports model of Porsche the unique 911 Carrera S starts already at $97,350, while Aston Martin offers V8 Vantage from $118,370.

Though, the car is a pure exclusive sports experience, it lacks some of the inner things, which you can expect. For example when thrown around the grip levels of the 2012 V8 Vantage are higher than ever, that is thanks to the wider rubber, which can also help make use of the additional stopping power. The Vantage suspension settings were softened up, and that is for sure a smart move from Aston.
