Aston Martin 2012 Virage Brought to the Public

Aston Martin’s staff and engineers are purely devout practitioners of the company’s religion, and that’s why this car manufacturer is introducing the 2012 Virage, which is supposed to split the difference between the basic DB9 models and the hard-core vehicles of DBS series.

The aim of the Aston Martin has incorporated in the Virage model, as the company’s staff explains, is to try to replicate the unique Rapide’s driving experience that it offers in a two-door package. And it doesn’t matter whether that will be in a coupe or in convertible form. Simply saying, the 2012 Aston Martin Virage is meant to offer additional power and even more enhancement than buyers would be able to get from a standard Aston Martin DB9, but Virage doesn’t offer that brutality of the Aston Martin DBS. The 2012 Virage sports has a 5.9-liter V-12 engine as those racing sport cars, but the engine’s 490 hp places the new Virage model perfectly between the performing 470-hp Aston Martin DB9 and the 510-hp Aston Martin DBS. Virage’s torque output for the powerful V-12 engine is the same as the DBS model, at 420 lb-ft. Aston Martin management says that the 2012 Virage will be able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.6 seconds; based on the previous experiences testing the car drives, appears that the figure on a real-road 0-to-60-mph time is in the low fours.
