Continuing its grand and greatly successful return to the production-derived GT motorsport the so much loved Aston Martin Racing will now take part in the contest of 24 Hours of the Le Mans that will take place next week (on 16th and 17th of June). This racing event will be visited by two Aston Martin Vantage GTE models, and it has its prominent sights to firmly set on the highest podium while finishing in both the GTE Pro class and the GTE Am class.

The lead Aston Martin Vantage GTE that has entered into the special GTE Pro category will therefore be piloted by special and highly skilled works drivers: Darren Turner from Great Britain and Stefan M?cke from Germany, and also by Adrian Fernandez from Mexico, while the Aston Martin Racing’s carefully and long-established partner team of Young Driver AMR will then join the forces with the stylish factory outfit in order to run the second car in this GTE Am class. Both cars got the number 97 and the 99 respectively – so they performed fairly competitively and fairly reliably at the pre-event test session that took place last week, with each car setting the pace in the respective class for much of the morning sessions. The number 99 went on in order to top the time sheets in GTE Am class in both sessions.
