Porsche made Aston Martin rename extreme Vantage

Company renamed Aston Martin’s most powerful modification of the model Vantage – GT3 – because of claims of copyright infringement of Porsche. This is with reference to its own source said the publication Goodwood Road and Racing.

Lawyers Aston Martin tried to resolve the issue with representatives of the Porsche for a few months. Nevertheless, the management of Aston Martin has decided not to spend money on litigation and renamed Vantage GT3 at Vantage GT12. The same designation and will receive a racing version of the model, used to be called V12 Vantage GT3.
