The unique Aston Martin by Zagato will be sold at the auction

American auction house RM Sothby’s put up for sale convertible Aston Martin DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial, released in a single copy. The car was designed by Italian coachbuilder Zagato in 2013 for the 100th anniversary of the British manufacturer of sports cars on request businessman Peter Reid.
Convertible, built on the model DB9 Volante, is made in the style of the classic models of Aston 70- and 80-ies. In addition, the sports car has borrowed some elements from the exclusive coupe DB7 Zagato, which has been shown at the Paris Motor Show in 2002. In all there were 100 such machines, 99 of which are delivered to customers, and one left for the Museum of Aston Martin.

DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial features a 5.9-liter twelve-atmospheric engine, outstanding 517 horsepower. Transmission – six-step “mechanics”. Convertible able to gain a first “hundred” for 4,6 seconds, and its top speed is 295 kilometers per hour.

Mileage is 3701 kilometers. The machine has a factory warranty on all mechanical components, which will end in March 2016. The auction will be held in August 14 and 15 in the US city of Monterey, California. Organizers of auction expect to gain for the Aston Martin DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial from 380 to 450 thousand dollars.
